Poste proposé : Facility Manager - Abidjan

In Melt Group we are searching for one of our clients, International Leader company specialized in services and facilities management, a Business Development Coordinator who will manages activities to be undergone on each site internally and others to be subcontracted as per the capacities and capabilities in Côte d’Ivoire.

 

Mission:

  • Standardize, deploy and manage SOPs.
  • Manage a team of skilled and non-skilled personnel over a large spread geographical area to manage efficient and effective company assets to coordinate the preventive and corrective maintenance plan.
  • Participate in the identification of strategic partners (contractors), build and deliver the yearly budget.

 

Principal Duties and Responsibilities
Health Safety & Enviroment:

  • Apply HSE standards.
  • Manage and participate in daily toolbox on site/department.
  • Raise motivation of the employees to participate on Company safety campaigns.
  • Immediately notice in any incidents / accidents on site and conduct regular inspections to eliminate the potential hazards.

Facilities Management services:

  • Review clients’ needs, our capabilities and capacities, suggest on the services to be performed in-house and the ones to be externalized.
  • Implement and ensure properly usage of a Computerized Maintenance Management System.
  • Review matrix on a regular basis.
  • Work with supply chain representative to recommend list of preferred suppliers.
  • Contribute to asset management renewal with the client representative.
  • Reduce cash purchases.
  • Review scope of work from client and propose solutions aligned to client financial strategy and operational capabilities.
  • Challenge and continually review labour structures, scheduling and ratios.
  • Control and challenge right tools or machinery required to the team for performing the job.
  • Manage and reduce Overtime, delays and absences.
  • Check timely completion of work orders.

Standar of Operations:

  • Implement best practices and operating procedures for all services to ensure compliance to Group’s standards and clients’ requirements.
  • Design KPIs system to measure performance and communicate effectively with the clients on the progresses.
  • Regularly update procedures based on internal / external best practices.
  • Define minimum competences required to perform SOP safely, efficiently, and effectively.
  • Manage sub-contractor’s competence in collaboration with client by evaluating staff capabilities on regular basis and proposing alternatives.
  • Work closely and in support with client technical team to implement SOP on all sites.
Profil recherché pour le poste : Facility Manager - Abidjan

Requirements:

  • 5 to 10 years’ experience in Facility Management and Multi technical maintenance.
  • Proven track record of selecting and managing many subcontractors.
  • Proven track record in managing teams remotely.
  • Strong negotiation, influencing and leadership skills.
  • Excellent project management skills (budget management).
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Fluency in English and in French.
  • Very good Microsoft Office skills (PowerPoint, Excel and Word).
  • Engineer or Bachelor degree in Facility Management or in Technical related field.
